The Story Behind “Count Your Blessings”{Inspiring Hymn}

A psalm called “Count the Blessings” educates us to remember to be thankful throughout everyday life.

Perhaps of the most notable Christian tune on the planet is Count the Blessings. It would make perfect sense if it made a large number of Christian arrangements of the best Christian songs ever.

“Recall Your Favorable luck” is a hymn on appreciation;

it is an urging to transcend demoralization, vulnerability, enviously, and egocentrism to arrive at another appreciation for the gifts the Ruler has plentifully presented to us.

Johnson Oatman Jr. composed the melody in 1897. (with music made by Edwin O. Excell).

Oatman was brought into the world in Lumberton, New Jersey, in 1856, and he truly revered his dad.

As Oatman developed, he needed to add inventively to the certainty that he and his father shared on the grounds that it was believed that his dad had the best exhibition voice around.

It was only after he was significantly more encountered that he understood his melodic gifts.

“At age 36, that’s what he understood, at the end of the day, did without a doubt have melodic expertise. He could make melodic structures for some Christians to sing.

Thusly, he regularly created 200 tunes.

By the end, he had composed 5,000 songs, and he was glad to have tracked down a way to “show the Gospel” in his melodic works (Story Behind the Tune: “Remember you are Good fortune,” St. Augustine Record, Nov. 20, 2014).

Each section of the tune “Remember Your Good fortune” starts with a test and closes with the explanation that, on the off chance that we review our favorable luck, we will be “stunned,” “singing,” “paid,” and “support” in any case.

 The melody likewise rehashes a similar expression with an alternate tune, adding “many” previously “gifts” the subsequent time.

The exhortation to “reliably say thanks to God for at all things ye do get” is extraordinary when it is rehashed regarding our “many” gifts.

At last, this delightful psalm shows us the significance of remembering our good fortune and posting them individually.

God is instructing us that no matter what, regardless of whether they are sweet, we should all have a heart that is grateful to God. “Remember Your Good fortune” just wakes us up to the motivations behind why we should continuously say thanks to God.

 Despite the fact that God is a reliable God who won’t ever let us down, we should continually place our confidence in Him.

The melody ” Count Your Blessings ” is a call to beat demoralization, uncertainty, desire, and self-indulgence to foster a new feeling of gratefulness for the favors that the Master has given to every one of us.

Count Your Blessings Words

When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings; name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.

(Chorus)

Count your blessings;

Name them one by one.

Count your blessings;

See what God hath done.

Count your blessings;

Name them one by one.

Count your many blessings;

See what God hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?

Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Count your many blessings; ev’ry doubt will fly,

And you will be singing as the days go by.

(Chorus)

When you look at others with their lands and gold,

Think that Christ has promised you his wealth untold.

Count your many blessings; money cannot buy

Your reward in heaven nor your home on high.

(Chorus)

So amid the conflict, whether great or small,

Do not be discouraged; God is over all.

Count your many blessings; angels will attend,

Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

(Chorus)
